Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid

A recent gathering in Madrid united faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to mark the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, highlighted intercultural coexistence, religious freedom and respect. The dialogue included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers presented different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can strengthen coexistence.

In the discussion, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility.
